Details of the Case
This is a 20 yr old Caucasioan female from the San Fernando Valley, who presented with resistan facial acne, not responsive to conservative management with topical antibiotics and retinoids, benzoyl peroxide and daily salicylic acid washes. She refused to go on an accutane treatment regimen due to the side effects of the medications . Instead, she came to our Cosmetic Laser Surgery Center, where she was treated with a series of combination treatments with microdermabrasions, Thermascan acne laser reduction, Blue light IPL and standard IPL. The after pictures were taken 9 months later.
