THERMASCAN ACNE LASER TREATMENT – BEFORE & AFTER PHOTOS

Details of the Case

This is a 22 yr old Caucasian female with resistant facial acne not responsive to conservative management with topical retinoids, antibiotics and benzoyl peroxide. The patient did not want to go on an Accutane treatment regimen due to its side effects. Instead, she looked for an expert cosmetic dermatologist in the Los Angeles area, and eventually came to our cosmetic laser surgery center.

She was treated by the cosmetic surgeon of the center, Dr. Raffi Dishakjian, with a series of 4 sessions of a combination of microdermabrasions, Thermascan laser acne reduction, blue light IPL, and regular IPL. The patient was acne-free within 6 months. The after pictures were taken 8 months from the start of the treatment.
